The winning Professional entry is Scootility, a utility scooter for urban delivery, by Springtime Design, and the winning Student entry is Barn Buddies, a warehouse-sharing service platform, by Lin Yu-He, Chen Zih-Jin, Chuang Chu-An, and Wu Yi-Chen at Ming Chi University of Technology & National Taipei University of Education.
We were happy to have LIndsey Maxwell, Vice President at Teague join us as the Jury Captain for the Transportation category this year. Joining Maxwell on the jury were Anne Asensio, Vice President Design Experience at Dassault Systèmes, Hilary Coe, Design Leader, Sharon Gauci, Executive Director of Design – Global Buick & GMC at General Motors and Sabine Pannetrat, Founder at Furiously Sustainable.
The 2024 Core77 Design Award Transportation category honors vehicles, systems or modes of transportation used to get people or objects from one place to another, for private, public, commercial or industrial purposes. Examples include: planes, trains, automobiles, buses, bikes, boats, mass transit systems, transportation infrastructure, etc.
